Leadership Team: Ted Mort

After growing up in Virginia just outside DC, I joined the Navy and served in the amphibious warfare group as an electrician. Once back on dry land, I moved out to Arizona and found a passion for construction as a land surveyor. I worked my way up from the field teams and earned the LSI & CSTIII credentials in surveying before pivoting into virtual construction and reality capture. I’ve spent the last decade starting and growing businesses focused on digitizing the AECO industry through technology integration, laser scanning, scan to BIM and VDC services. I’ve had the privilege to be a part of the amazing journey our industry has taken over the last 20 years toward digital twins and can’t wait to see what’s next! When I’m not working, you can find me outside with my wife Jill, and kids Ava and Teddy – we like exploring new places, finding a great hike, camping, fishing, diving and lots of youth sports these days.
